Personality Dimensions (formerly True Colours)

Smart Serve
Smart Serve is a responsible alcohol beverage service-training program developed by Smart Serve Ontario. This workshop is about 2.5 hours in length and is designed for servers, bartenders, door staff, security, golf course marshals, managers, licensees or anyone working in the area where alcohol is sold and served under a Liquor Sales License or Special Occasion Permit.
There is a cost of $25 a person for this course.

Air
Break
For those that currently have their
class "D" licence but do not have the air brake endorsement. We have a
sign up sheet at the Action Center so we can determine how many people
might be interested in following up with this endorsement. We will run the
course if there are enough persons signing up on the list.
Self
Employment benefits
If anyone is interested in the self
employment benefits program, one of our peer helpers has been going
through this process and will be happy to assist you if you are interested
in looking at this option. There is some printed material available at the
Action Center.
Basic
Computer Skill Training
If anyone is interested in a Basic
Computer Skills training program please sign up/call in at the Action
Center so that we can determine how many people might be interested in
these possible sessions. Dates to be announced in the near
future.
Forklift Training
We have no other courses scheduled
for the remainder of this but will endevour to do more in the spring time
of 2010.

Jean Miller can be at the Action
Center for anyone that has question or concerns regarding Trades testing
or qualification. If you need letters for your C of Q we can get these.

That if you are interested in
information on how to obtain your Grade 12 equivalency, we will be having
an information session. The date is to be determined later, please call

Trades C. of Q. test
Any trade apprentices looking to
write the Certificate of Qualifications
Any one looking to
write their C.of Q. and need help setting up the test and getting paper
work from United States Steel or Multi-Serv please contact the Action
Center.
